Set up your exercise space
When getting ready to perform your exercises and activities, set-up your environment so you can freely do your exercises while MSK-OS guides you through your movements. The following tips and tricks will help:
1. Avoid obstructions between you and the camera
If there are any objects in the way, the camera can have difficulty in measuring your movement and capturing accurate data.
2. Avoid multiple people in the frame at the same time
We take security seriously. If there are multiple people in the frame, the camera will not be able to tell who you are.
3. Avoid concentrated direct or overhead lighting
Bright light that shines directly into the camera can make it difficult for the camera to recognize details-similar to staring directly at the sun.
4. If possible, avoid excessively loose clothing
The body tracking capabilities can be affected if you are wearing very loose clothing that can cover the joints. An example can be really baggy sweatpants or a gown.
5. Having trouble? Pause the session at any time.
Walking off the camera for a few seconds will pause the session. This can help refresh the application in case you get stuck.
Recommended Devices
MSK-OS will work on most mobile phones, tablets, laptops, and desktops. Ensure you are connected to Wifi. Newer devices typically perform better but the main requirement is that your device enables access to a web browser, internet connection, and a front-facing camera.
